The Festival Of Colors

Today is the day of color blast in our country. It is the festival of Holi, where people make fun with dust or liquid colors. They also have Bhang drinks and Bhang sweets (Bhang is an intoxicating herb).
In some places, music and dance programs are organised. It is a day full of life with an ambience of fun and merriment. My husband is a photographer. He takes beautiful snaps on this day. I have taken a picture from him to share with my myLot friends!

Dear Friend, people spread dust or liquid colors on each other or in the streets to make fun; this is called Holi in India!

@srisahara Yes, absolutely. Actually it has a religious background also. Our God Sri Krishna used to play Holi in Vrindavana.
