The Big 4 - Mosh Pit Required

Just the other night, the heavy metal part of me took over and made me watch the Big 4 DVD. It's a two disc set featuring legendary heavy metal band's Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, and Metallica, filmed live in Bulgaria. All four groups rock, as you'd expect from that lineup, but I found the sets by Anthrax and Megadeth the most entertaining of the four. This is a metalhead's dream, with guitar solo's galore and enough headbanging to satisfy most any metal fan. (And, the Bulgarian audience is one of the most enthusiastic that I've seen on a live DVD, which makes viewing even more fun.) The highlight of the concert comes during Metallica's set, when the three other bands join them onstage for Diamond Head's "Am I Evil?" The Big 4 is a fun, entertaining DVD set, one I wholeheartedly recommend.
