I am trying so hard....

I have had another blah day today with my depression. I am trying so hard to get past this. The doctors are only trying to find something else to diagnose me with. It seems like the list of things I am diagnosed with is never ending. My family physician wants me to go see my psychiatrist to adjust my medications. My therapist agrees. I don't see my psychiatrist until the 18th of April. I might go in there tomorrow and see if I can get in sooner, but I really doubt I can. Until then I will keep trying to think positive, I will keep busy, and keep trying. I will continue my walking, and eating better. And I will try to reduce the stress. I am also trying to avoid people, unfortunately. I seem to be a little moody lately and snapping. Which isn't good at all. Being on myLot is helping keep me distracted. But I have to take breaks a lot because I am very tired. So bare with me as I am trying to stay caught up. I hope everything is going great with you all. What is something interesting that happened to you this week?

I'm a Bipolar with huge depression and anxiety, so I get where you're coming from. While people who are quite uneducated about it will just tell you to "snap out of it," as if it were that easy, I will just say hang in there and battle through it as best you can.

@teamfreak16 Being in a relationship is the hardest part. Trying to find someone who fully understands is hard.

@T_gray - My girlfriend always thinks it's because of her. I have to keep telling her that I'm just going to be like this, for no reason, every once in awhile.

I am sorry to hear that you have to go through so much. I hope the diagnosis or therapy does help. Do you have any religious belief? I am not sure if it helps. I have heard that meditation can help with depression, it doesn't need to be related any religion. It might take time and patience. Nothing special happened here. I am just busy with my freelance project, some online work, doing some Easter crafts and spending time with my children. Hope you'll be better very soon.

@T_gray Yes, if you can, perhaps praying and meditation will help. But, remember to be patient. I guess I'll be quite busy until my baby is born in May, as I need to get some work done before my baby arrives, as I am sure I'll be busier when the baby comes. Meditation does help me as well, especially when I am too overwhelmed or stressed.

Well let's see - I called the police on my son, and he's out of the house - that was Monday, yesterday I ordered my glasses online, and it's snowing - blizzard expected.

@T_gray I should have them in 2-3 weeks. We didn't have a blizzard or as much snow as they predicted.

The annoying part is what gets me. I think right now being along is best for me. I just have to deal with my roommate at times...

if it's not a rude question, why are you seeing a psychiatrist?

I'm sorry to hear your still dealing with your depression. I hope the doctors can alternate your medicine and help your mood swings better. Nothing new with me this week just a busy week of work then had my nieces over for a sleep over Friday evening.

When I am feeling a bit down, I put on some of my Christian Praise CD's and begin to thank the Lord for all the blessings He has given me.

It will still happen but still covered by the week. I'll be visiting my parents tonight so I'll be with them tomorrow until Sunday. I live far from them and this short vacation is a timely one.
