He needs my shoes

When I got back to the house, mom suddenly told me my eldest brother needs some shoes for his trip to Bangladesh for some project there. That was weird, I was at their house thirty minutes and he didn't even bother telling me when I was there.
I called him and told that it's okay he doesn't want to borrow myself. But I insisted since I'm not using them for a while.
So, Mom dropped by there with two kinds of shoes. First one was given by a relative, he need a black shoes, but this one is not leather. Second one was the Sandugo hiking shoes, I bought this one out of my (late) bubblews money. I hope he gets to use either of them but this one on the picture is a lot tougher.
Hard to believe how shy he was when asking mom to buy him when he can have mine. He gave me his old treadmill which I'm using now.

Hello @ida123 yeah, or maybe he just remembered and told mom while I was on my way back. but i let him borrow the shoes anyway, no problem.

the plan really was to buy my brother new shoes but i think mom couldn't afford to buy new one so i let him borrow my shoes @destimona

Hello @Marcyaz well, it's better that I let him borrow rather than slowly rotting in my room. one time I use the other shoe, the heels got loose.

That was nice of you to let him borrow your shows as he's given you his old treadmill. Sometimes its harder to ask siblings directly to borrow maybe.

I feel bad for him @infatuatedbby he's too busy with work he didn't have time to exercise in his treadmill and bike. i hope the shoes can help.

Awwww brotherly love. I think he wanted a new pair though. But yep Filipino moms are quite thrifty on these areas if it's possible to borrow they'll borrow. I remember once for my prom my mom borrowed a dress from her office mate for me to wear 
.
Anyway I hope he picks to borrow your shoes because at least you're immediate family. It may not be the same condition when it's returned. I'm sure you'll understand.

Well, with regards to the prom, they made a suit which was a bit expensive at that time. the shoes were the same ones i wore in school. I think by next month, dad's balikabayan box will arrive with my new shoes
and I hope its better than one i bought.

Hello @scheng1 He was in a hurry to buy one i think, but I'm not using these shoes lately. Right now I got 4 ones and three of them were given by good relatives of mine. so, it's okay that i let him borrow two.

It's nice when siblings are like that, borrowing things, showing good relationship; but he is quite shy to tell you he wanted to borrow your shoes.
