The Big Build

This is a program on BBC showing just how lucky we are. The big build helps people with sick and disabled children or adults. The families are normally stretched and living in cramped conditions trying hard to cope. After the team has finished remodelling the homes everyone living there usually gets their own bedrooms with special lifts, disabled bathrooms and much needed extra space. The local tradespeople in the area turn out and work for nothing to help the family needing some help. It is a heart warming program showing their are good people out there willing to give up their time to help someone live a happier life. This is a very popular watch.

Wow that is so fantastic to hear about suzzy. I have not seen it, maybe not available here but will look for it. That is very special, a very good hearted thing to do for people. And even doing it with no fee as well. Would love to see what they do.

It is worth a look as those tradespeople and suppliers give everything for free. It really makes a difference to the families life.

That is wonderful we have something like that here called Habitat For Humanity. They help build homes for people who otherwise would never be able to have a house.

That sounds a good watch. These people have homes but they are not big enough for wheel chairs or disabled equipment. One had a really sick father who was dying so the big build team went in to make the house safe for his family. It really breaks your heart.

Makes me cry to see how some families have to live. They cannot claim benefits or get any other type of government help with housing.
