I've been playing games on Facebook and some of them have chat "rooms." This morning I went to play and this one person was saying how she "Wishing people a happy Easter is a sign of good will. l will not be silenced. l was told l was no longer allowed to wish anyone a Merry Christmas at work. l made a point of wishing everyone Merry Christmas and refused to obey" I guess I missed her because when I posted the following responses, I got no answer. "So, do you wish your Jewish friends "Happy Passover"?" "And besides, "Easter" should be called "Pascha" that means "Passover" because that's the Holy Day that Jesus died before." ""Easter" was taken from the name of a goddess who's celebration was on the equinox of spring." You see, while I'm Christian, I have many friends who are not. Some are Jewish, some are pagan and some are atheists. All of them are willing to respect my religion so long as I respect their religion, or lack of same. So, when I find these "militant" so called "Christians", I find myself pushing back at them.

I guess I've just known so many people. My dad was an atheist and we grew up next door to a Jewish family. Most people in this country might be some form of Christianity, but there is no one single "majority" religion.

@ElicBxn As we know religion causes so many problems in the world when it is deemed as the only religion.

Actually I don't remember that, but that might just be that I avoided those kinds of discussions.

And that's a good way to act. That way you have the bases covered and don't offend anyone, except those who are looking to be offended.

There are Christians who follow the word of G-d and then there are christians (small c) who pick and choose what they want to 'believe'. Very few of the former, many, many of the latter!!

I wish I did, but I find those are the kinds that support Trump.
