Just think about a happy dog waiting to greet you all of the time, and the silly things that they do to make you laugh. I know there is a lot of work involved but with most good things in life there are work involved. Adopting a pet is a really good thing you can do, you are not only saving a warm loving animal but you are also helping yourself prevent or reduce depression as well.

I do remember one situation comedy from Mexico where a lonely lady had a pet dog as her best friend since the dog kept her a happy camper since she lived by herself.
