This Philippine eagle has been attempted to be killed for three times. The criminals are still at large this time. Why are there cruel people? This Philippine eagle has just been cured from his second shot.In his third shot, the care taker thought this eagle will not survive. This eagle could be seen in Davao Forest, tamed and cared for this is the remaining endangered eagle in Philippines. The Philippine government assures protection of all the animals in the forested places in the Philippines. Photo Image of the Philippine Eagle Photo credit: Yahoo Philippines

Will the criminals who shot this eagle be sent to jail or have they not been caught. It is a shame we have to have an endangered animals at all.

@Marcyaz, We love our national bird, the Philippine eagle, actually this is the breeder of the female eagle killed last year and her eggs were incubated. The six eaglets were perfectly hatched and taken cared in the nursery. May the criminal pay the crime.

The Philippine eagles look so great. I haven't seen this kind of bird before. It is so bad that some people want to hurt them. I hope they will leave peacefully with human beings. Hopefully people can realize how precious they are and try to protect them. Lately I have watched a documentary called Racing Extinction. It is so sad that some animals were gone and they would never come back. We can only see them from the photos.

@cacay1 so many've a total disregard fer life...includin' their own't seems. i 'twas delighted to read though that those eggs reached maturity. what a blessin' that there's kind folks out there to see that such's so. will they be released 'nto the wild when they've matured?? 'r 're they destined to remain there?

There are really sick people mentally and spiritually. This eagle is back to his shape this time.We are so happy here too, for the mother eagle before she was fatally shot by intruders had 3 eggs and they were incubated and hatched perfectly. These these three eaglets are now 5 months old and so healthy.

There are people who do not really care for their actions; they do not care if the Philippine eagle is on the brink of extinction. They do not care about the ecosystem, about the environment, all due to greed or ignorance!

He is truly magnificent. I think that they do not see the beauty that you and me can see and they just want to kill them any way that they canñ Sort of like a Trophy for them and they might well think that "there I have gotten the better of this World" sort of thing. Otherwise I don´t know why they would do it anymore. Thank you for such a wonderful image.
