Yesterday was the perfect English Spring day. The epitome of what Spring here ought to be. However, today it is all change and the rain is lashing - well drizzling heavily, and the wind is blowing hard and likely to gust as 70mph. I am sitting here in my study watching the trees blow and delighted that I managed to put a new fence that runs down one side of our property put in before these winds arrived. On a warm summer's evening, a cooling breeze is sheer heaven. However, on a wet, late March afternoon, its not welcome at all.
