Losing a Loved One

Yesterday my church family and I laid to rest the sweetest woman we ever knew. Her name was Fay and she was 91 years old. This woman gave the best hugs ever. It was never a quick "let's get this over with" kind of hug, it was the kind of hug that made you feel like you were loved. Like you truly mattered. She was always in a wonderful mood and told the funniest stories. She could make anyone feel better instantly. I'm going to miss her so much but I know she is with the Lord now and I'm sure she and my grandpa have a lot to catch up on. I'm truly grateful I had a chance to know this woman and learn by her example. In this dark world she was the brightest light.
