This part of my life ignored.

I stopped writing here some time ago after I got burned from a few clients. Apparently contracts don't scare off con artists any longer, and for some apparent reason, I keep finding them.
I work hard, very hard for my money, so when someone disappears when i send a bill, or keeps adding bonus jobs onto an existing job, you learn to let go and let GOD. Problem is, it's getting more common as the days get warmer.
I just spent 8 days underneath a house to only clear $200 and was told there was no more money coming. The job was quoted at $900. Another client keeps wanting to pay me an hourly wage when the contract for the job clearly states that he is to pay what's on the paper.
Really hard to have a motive to write, when the rest of the world keeps dragging you down. Now I got to find money for Easter, even though this is my first day off in a month. That's right, as of right now, I'm officially broke.

My brother requires half up front and pay a percentage as the job progresses. All materials are paid for in advance as well.
I am sorry that people are taking advantage of you. Hopefully things will get better.

And this is what i also do, but sometimes they act like they're going to the bank and don't come back. I was told to do a 1-day job, then collect..never happened.
Worked for my landlord for 18 days...he knocked off 360.00 from my rent.
Stupid things like that.

@quarternoes that isn't right either. A contract is legal and binding. Take a few of them to small claims court and you'll get redemption.
