Truest Kind Of Love (poem)

Frozen in time on a cold winters night Awaiting a savior with a love that's right Bound by desires and pinned with longing Yearning for a sense of belonging She drowns in hopes and suffocates on dreams Covering her face to soften her screams Across town he's lying in bed alone Hoping to find the girl who'll sing his heart's song He stares out the window at the stars in the skies Awaiting the one to silence his cries Chained by the pains that haunt his past Just dying for something that will last One day the stars will bring them together Soul mates, a love that lasts forever They don't know it now but good things are to come They will find their place in the sun And together their hearts will rise above In a lifetime of the truest kind of love
