Articles about losing weight swarms every blogspot and website. They offer too many possible solutions for people who want to lose some weight.
Here is what I think about it, most of us are trying to get that body we want, and we leave everything else out. I'm not saying there is something wrong with wanting to lose some weight. If you need to for health sake or getting better life then do it with conviction. But please don't do it because you find it hard to accept the way you are now.
Personally, I have been too exposed to environments where having an extra pound on your weight gains a frown from surrounding people. I wish they will just see something beautiful out of that person other than that extra pound of weight.
Maybe it all goes down to the influence that we consciously or unconsciously acquire. I have friends whom I find really beautiful regardless of their weight differences.
Wouldn't you agree?

Fo many years I had to struggle with my weight. However, it's not loosing but GAINING weight. Even when I was pregnant I was skinny. The weight that I gained was only the weight of my baby. It was only when my son was 2 years old that I found the right way to gain weight and I was very happy. I finally reached the 55kg that I had wished for. Then came my Korean friends and told me I was fat. Unconsciously I started to loose weight without even dieting. Could be because of the environment that I was in. Now i'm at 52kg and trying to maintain that. My height is 5 feet 4.

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to gain weight too. If I miss just one meal my weight will be affected. I need to eat five to eight times.

@toniganzon are you picky with what you eat? I'm afraid I'm too picky that's why I'm too skinny.

Well there is definitely nothing wrong with wanting to lose weight and being fit but I agree with your point. Sometimes people are so hell bent focused on the physical attributes that hey overlook what's most important. That which is a good heart and a pleasing personality. These inner attributes is what makes someone beautiful.
Personally I find confidence beautiful and attractive no matter what shape or size a person is. Beauty is not only defined by how many pounds you are as long as you are happy with what you are and you're healthy of course.
