I am hopeless. I said I needed to save for my tuition fee. But when I see the word SALE I can't help but shop.
I just can't resist the 50% off from the Ninewest bag. And my friend is not helping at all in stopping me from buying. In my defense though, I did need a new bag as my handbag was ruined when I was mugged.

OH don't feel guilty. Girls need bags anyway and one is never enough!
I told myself I'll never buy another midori, but I just placed an order for the latest camel edition! I guess I'll never stop.

@flapiz I belong to a community called planner girl and there's one brand of planner that I really like from Australia, It's called Kikki.k. I only have one Kikki.k currently but planning to add more. I bought kikki.k accessories though. The one I got was made of saffiano leather.

Thank you. I'm happy people in mylot are actually liking it. It's very hard to buy full priced things so I am reliant to sale. So when I see the word sale I panic and go into my mathematician mode. You'd be surprised how good I am in calculating discounts.
10 dollars for shoes? Wow now that's a very good deal.

I am trying to save money this year as well but it's not easy - particularly when I am going through a rough time and like to treat myself to new things to cheer myself up. It does sound as though this was a necessity rather than an impulse purchase and it is a nice bag

Hi Jacqui that's exactly how I feel. Like I'm so broke and so sad that I'm broke and I feel like I need to treat myself. Oh gosh. When I have money I don't feel this much of an urge to shop for sale.
It did cheer me up though. And hopefully it will motivate me to work harder.

@euphie Indeed. If I don't buy it feels like I'm working, working, working for nothing. And so is feel burnt out and starts losing interest in work.
I don't know how our human brains are wired. It seems like the best time to buy is when we're broke and when we have money we can't find ways to spend it. Quite a strange and paradoxical phenomena.

I've worked 2 days straight this week so the bag is all paid off. All I have to do now is pray for more shifts.

You have to "fight it" you know, it's not easy to earn money there. Remember the movie shopaholic or something. Remember your priorities and those people who never made it the way you do. You'd probably get tired of that bag and definitely buy a new one.

Sadly I wasn't able to fight it. But I'd be keeping it and using it for a long time I swear. I'm working today. So at least I could get some money back.

I'm worried that I have that disease. But so far I've been really prudent with what I buy. I even cut back on some things that I could live without. It's just that yes I do need a bag and it was too good a deal to miss.

It's actually the first expensive bag I bought for myself. I usually am happy with anything as long as it's usable. But I have to start making myself presentable and more professional looking these days.
