Is it me or is the younger generation really lazy?

They seem to just want to play on their phones or play games. When it comes to an actual job, they seem to think the world owes them something for doing nothing.
In my opinion and the opinions of many people that I work with, this doesn't bode well for the future of our country.

I agree that we (since I am 18) do have a big problem with being attached to our phones and it's rather sad. However, this unfortunately has become more and more of a problem with our parents too, as I see lots of 40-50 year olds that are also on their phones.

The scariest part to me is that we taught ourselves over time that this is aceptable- I don't even want to think about what our kids will be like once they grow up constantly watching their parents glued to their phones. Good luck to our posterity.

You've got it! And if they should accept a job, they will expect a salary equivalent to that of a dedicated worker for 30 years.

You hit the nail on the head. Of course, not all youth are like that but I would say in general that's their attitude.

it is not good for the future of any country and i do agree with John, the entire generation is certainly not like that... Innovation and creativity are a major highlight of this present generation...
