The bomb blast at Gulshan-e-Iqbal park in Pakistan has taken place when a bilateral discussion about to take place between India and Pakistan. The attack a gruesome one in which 10-12 kg explosive said to have been used including ball-bearings killed 70 innocent people and more than 300 all belonging to Christian community that gathered for Easter. This is the first of its kind which targeted against the people belonging to only a particular religion. This sequel to Brussels Attack in which the target was random but here there is clearly an element of religious sentiment the Pakistan Intelligence did not pay any heed. This is totally a failure of Pakistan Intelligence to put a check to the terrorist activities within the country. Already the U.S is busy in selecting and electing its president who are targeting the Muslims for their election campaign in name of protecting U.S from the Muslim attacks propounding their own plans in restricting the entry of Muslims into U.S. Now, this attack aimed particularly against Christians will definitely make Pakistan face global criticism for its failure in arresting terrorist activities with the land as well as for being used as a set stage for terrorist activities outside the Pakistan. The Pakistan can not close its eyes to the International happenings and should openly feel responsibility for the incident and take immediate action towards this end.

Indias intelligence failed to stop mumbai, belgiums intelligence failed to stop brussells, frances intelligence failed to stop paris and the US failed to stop 9/11 and the UK have also had a couple of attacks. So it isn't really just pakistans ISI that should be alone on the naughty step

The incidents are sporadic which we may have to accept though unwillingly. But the painting here is giving different picture. Pakistan has been chosen a good stage for the terrorist operation. As such it has to be more vigilant in dealing with the terrorist. India, Belgium, U.S were never chosen for terrorist operations. Actually, they are sufferers. Whenever any terrorist activities are carried out they are being tagged to some Muslim Organizations. They are not operating Al-Quida of India, Brussels or U.S Have you heard of any such organizations? When they are linking themselves with some particular religion there is every need to more careful on the activities of people. Is Pakistan not being blamed now?

@shivamani10 all of the terrorist attacks of recent times in the UK were carried out by british nationals operating from here and nothing to do with pakistan. from what I remember they weren't of pakistani origin either.

Unless we can separate terrorism from religion, these will continue to happen. These are hateful people masquerading in the garb of religious fanatics. Everyone should speak out that there is no "good" terrorism anywhere - siva

Why should we separate? The organizations claiming themselves belonging to a particular religion and taking up operations globally.

@Shiva49 Exactly. That is what the Pakistan is not doing. If it is not possible their Intelligence should keep a thorough watch on the people of Pakistan and on their movements. The Government is simply lamenting. It is nothing but just endorsing their announcements.

@shivamani10 The issue is when an organization says it is acting for a particular religion, it should be rebuffed by those belonging to that religion than keep quiet thereby giving tacit approval - siva
