I have an Android phone and I am recommending it. I'm not being biased as I am familiar with Apply products. What exactly are you looking for? Fast processor? Huge storage capacity? Great camera quality? For selfie phones? How about battery life?
Me, the first thing I look for a phone is it's battery capacity, how long it will last on a single charge, next are the rest of the specs, RAM, proc cores, screen etc.

The most important thing is the battery life, because the one I have doesn't even last a day and it annoys me. I also want a good camera quality, but I don't really care about the storage capacity since I don't put many things on my phone. I chose Android because it is cheaper, but is it the same quality as Iphones?

@arianebergeron It depends on what quality you are referring to. Quality varies on people you ask as not everyone has the same set of standards on what they want to buy.

@ghostie2472 That's true. I was referring to the screen quality, the speed and the resistance of the phone in general.

Because the battery life of my current one is very low. At the beginning, I could use it for two days without having to plug it. But now, it doesn't even last a day!

I've been using Android forever. I don't want to even try iPhone.

I have a Samsung core. What I like best about this phone is that it is smaller than Iphones, si it fits my hands better and I can use only one hand to text.

@arianebergeron I am going to do some research before I go to find out what is new on the S7. I currently have an S4 mini, so I imagine the S7 is a significant upgrade.

@avi256 oh I didn't know about that. Thanks for the clarification. With the answers I got, I think I'm still going to get an Android!

What features are you talking about? One thing I like more of the Android is that there is more free games available!

Wow you have been using Iphones before they became really famous! The thing I love about Iphones is the cloud. It makes changing phones really easy.

I guess I am biased and I have only had an Iphone. With that said, I have tested for work (3 months at a time) the windows phone and an android phone. I find the android phones are less expensive, which is a huge plus, but I am very familar with the Iphone, so I always come back to that.

Well I noticed that people usualy stick with the same brand, because they get used to the way the phone works.
