What kind of art do you buy?

So does anyone here buy anything with art on it? Do you buy art prints and paintings for display or useful things with art on it instead?
I prefer to buy things that I can use with some art on it as opposed to just having one for display. Even if I am an artist that's my preference.
Usually I like colorful shirts with nice drawing/illustration or buy stuff that are geeky when I have the money. I don't like figurines or statues or toys for display only (but I like to sculpt when I can).
For room decor, I do have posters of my favorite anime and that's it.
So what about you? Do you buy art at all or just prefer to look at them when you get the chance?
Picture is the temporary tattoos I designed which I put on my hand and my bro's neck.

Hello there! I love to look at visual art... of course they are worth looking at and obviously, they are called "visual art" (silly me)
Anyway, I've known some artists and sadly, I can't afford to buy any of their works. In addition, I don't have my own home yet so I don't know where to place them permanently.

Hehe true. Even my posters are all rolled and hidden somewhere because I haven't moved into my own place yet. Left the previous room I was renting and haven't moved out yet again so my walls now are artless.
You don't need to buy expensive art too. There are a lot of affordable ones out there.

@owstalaga I'm wondering how "affordable" are those? I just wish someone would just give me one and i'd proudly place it in the living room where I am living right now hahaha

I don't usually buy artwork. I am not an artistic person, moreover I don't think I can afford to buy those artwork as well, though I am always amazed of the creative and great artwork by those talented artists.
The tattoos you designed are nice!

my walls're filled, shelves's well, with art. from pictures, paintin's, sculptures. if'n it strikes my fancy 'n i've the coin to purchase, i much prefer those to wearable art. jest fer the simple fact that i'd be wearin' the art 'til it 'twas tattered'n torn.

wow the mirror sounds lovely! I have a clock with a flowery border and inside print of a Greek vase. The only reason I bought it is it looks really great on any wall!

All the art stuff in my room is scattered everywhere. I have so many from different countries. I have art materials from Japan (they have the best pens and paint brushes), from Australia, and from the US. I like arts and crafts by Martha Stewart, MommyLhey's clear stamps and studio L2e too. I can't remember all of the brands but I have them everywhere in my room!

@quantum2020 Oh I don't want to buy used art tools. I want brand new brushes and such if ever I'm gonna buy them again. As for works of art, yeah going to flea markets can be good.
