How to make money on fiverr

for some reason up until now I stayed away from such sites. but a friend of mine recommended me fiverr. please help me understand how the site works and if you're in fact capable of making money over there. it would surely be nice. how do they pay you? via paypal?

Yes, you bid for some work like writing articles or getting likes on Facebook for $5. You get $4 via PayPal. But the work is tedious and the frequency is not too good. Means like you will get one job about once in two or three months.

Published several gigs on Fiverr and made some money as well as contacts for continued writing gigs. The pay is as many stated and paid through Paypal. Fiverr is a way to build or hone your skill at whatever it is you can offer people. Have a skill in building sites, or drawing, writing or simply wish to be creative, you can publish a gig and wait for buyers to bite.
