Lately, whenever some friends came near me, the comment that I heard was that I am becoming fatter. I am afraid I gain more and more weight as time passes. I was advised by my doctor not to get fat because I have a disorder on the lumbar area of my spine and becoming fat is not advisable.
How can I control this. I'm used to eating more and more. Do you also have weight problems?

Yes I do..it is terrible and I was always thin but some years ago, I started to gain weight..not sure why.
I am presently losing weight but very slowly. It is taking a very long time.
If you can try to avoid putting too much weight on..there is a way I think it is more exercise? I try, but mostly I have just stop eating junk food and lost 11 lbs.
Good luck friend.

Unfortunately losing weight is pretty much the same as gaining it, it doesn't happen over night.
It will take time to lose it, the same as it took time for it to build up, you'll need to change your eating habits and eat healthier types of foods as well as making the portion sizes smaller.
Exercise is also an important thing in weight loss too, but since you already have lower back problems, you might need to talk to your doctor first about which exercises would be best for you.
I have issues with my lumbar region too, and can only really do the exercises that my physiotherapist gave to me or yoga as it is gentle and very similar to the physio movements.
Try not to listen too much to what others say about your weight though, it's your body and it's you that needs to be happy with it, not other people. Love yourself and only change what you want to change for you.

I was fat before especially after giving birth to my kids. But luckily not anymore. I just exercise and do a lot of walking. Eating less really helps.

I think you will require support from your friends, for e.g. going to a gym together etc. as well as support from your family. This is because if your environment doesn't change, it is very hard to change who you are, especially when you are faced with 'temptations' like junk food.

Don'nt feel negative. There's time to do exercise and to lose weight. All you have to do is ignore people who are making negative comments about you.
