Alcohol will be sold to persons under 21 years of age!

The legal drinking age here is that you must be 21 years of age! And, when my family and I went to this restaurant - the cups were blocking the sign so it read: Alcohol will be sold to persons under 21 years of age! From the table/standing point of view you cannot see the "no" in front of alcohol so it was pretty hilarious! Have you came across funny signs like this? I have seen immature ones like Pen is not working (and the person writing wrote pen + is closely so it looks like one word but actually it was the stylus that you use to sign your name at check out. I did not take a photo though because a lot of people were in line.

I saw this post on the sidebar of another I just read and had to come take a look. I wondered which state was lowering the drinking age, but see what you're talking about there. Sometimes too it's the inflection we miss on a sentence written that gives us one take when a different take was planned. I can't think of any examples right now.

@MarshaMusselman Hehe yes, she won't - but a lot of states are looking into this law!

@infatuatedbby Oh, wow, that will make it difficult for those already hooked on the nicotine and between the age of eighteen and twenty-one. I wonder whether all the states will follow suit eventually or not? Time will tell, I suppose.

@infatuatedbby I mentioned this to one of my employees that smokes and she heard that several states are considering changing this law. She won't be affected as she's in her fifties.

The funniest one I saw was on a menu in a cafe that I went to, at the bottom it said "all food contains ingredients". I get the feeling they were trying to say that all food made there could contain ingredients that people may be allergic to.

@infatuatedbby I took a photo and placed it on facebook to show my friends, but didn't mention it in the cafe.

It really says "no" infront though just the angle captured you don't see it due to the cups being blocked.

@infatuatedbby That is funny I wonder how many underage people tried to challenge that sign, lol. They need to move those glasses elsewhere.

I suppose that the sign starts with a "NO" that is not visible. The legal age to drink is 18 here.

And the restaurant never bothered to change the arrangement of the cups. Here in my country, the legal age for one to purchase liquor is 18 years old.
