Privileged to be working.

So as my alarm goes off I struggle to get out of bed, I hate leaving the warmth and confort. However these thoughts are short lived as I remind myself of the wonderful people who will be waiting for my arrival. How privileged I am to be in this position. Also I think of those who don't have a job, who would love to have a job to get up for. So here it is, I'm blessed another day to have employment is the job I have always wanted to to, to spend each working with surrounded with amazing and inspiring people. Do you fight to get up for work? Do you enjoy your job?

There are times that it is like that. But you are right in this age, a lot people struggle to have work and those who have worked should be thankful for their job.

@rakski Lucky I have managed to remain in work since I left school, apart from a 6 month period when I was about 17. But i see others daily who would do anything to have a job and if makes me sad. No wonder crime is so high when people have family's to provide for and can't get work.

@rakski It's easy to take it forgranted, it's easy to get annoyed and wish we didn't have to work. However it pays for everything we have and there are so many people who are not to lucky - struggling to find work.

I am retired, but when I was working I did appreciate my work and enjoyed it.

@marlina It's so much easier if you are able to enjoy your work isn't it. I don't think I'd be able to stick a job I didn't enjoy truth be told.

I know what you mean. Although I do complain about my job and its stresses, I am lucky to have one!

@gudheart Yeah mine can also be very stressful, I management in mental health it can be very full on and it never stops my phone rings all times of day and night so I can never really but work aside and relax. But I wouldn't have it any other way.

No, though I work from Monday-Sunday. I enjoy flexible hours of work. Yes, I enjoy my remote jobs.

I have only had 1 job and I was fired in two weeks and was not given a reason has to why. I am scared to work in the city because of the rush, I keep trying to look for another job but there is nothing. Hopefully once I move I will find a job that I will love, and hopefully one day will be able to work as a full time screenwriter. That is a job I would never sleep for because I love it so much.
