Spring Brings Me Outside

As the weather gets warmer I am drawn to the outside and my garden. It is a spiritual as well as physical thing with me. Right now there are hostas in the flower bed that I'm cleaning out and refurbishing. There are so many hostas that I'm potting them three to a pot to sell the end of May. So far I have 43 pots and haven't put a dent in them. There are also tall orange day lilies. Hope to pot them up also. There is a growing market for indigenous plants. These lilies are found along forest edges in clearings. Working with the plants and soil gives me inner peace. Dave would want me to continue my gardening.

I just hate when it rains because then we are stuck inside.

Day lilies are very popular in Western Australia and there is always a ready market for them. I'm glad you are carrying on with your gardening. My mother always found it very rewarding and therapeutic.
