Some might not call tissues in the dark wash a disaster but I do. Having to shake the items all covered in white dust. What a nightmare. Finding a dark sock in the white wash which leaks another nightmare. Are your disaster the same as mine or have you different ones.

I once washed some white towels. I am not sure how a pink sock ended in the washing machine, but when I opened it the towels weren't white anymore! Sometimes I forget to empty the pockets when I wash my husband's clothes, and the nails in one of his pocket once damaged some of the clothes.

@suzzy3 Yes, some our clothes were damaged in the past, and I promised myself to be more careful. I also washed a 50 kr bill (our local currency) but the bill survived and we were able to spend it

I have different ones at this time my friend.
As far as wash goes, I went down to the little laundry place here the other day to wash a medium sized rug.
To say it rumbled the machine is an understatement.
Then of course it did not dry in the dryer..took a couple days to dry it.

I try to check all pockets before I place the clothes in the machne. But just one small overlooked tissue can mean a snow of litter in my bathroom (where I have the washing machine). This is when I swear.

I have plenty of disasters. I accidentally wash papers with clothes too because I don't always check pockets

I hate that. The little tissues are everywhere all over your clothes.

I hate it when tissues get in the wash. It is a disaster.
