I've just heard that Ronnie Corbett has died. For those of you who don't already know he is .. or was a British comedian from the 1970's and 1980's who was diminutive in stature. He was less than 5 ft tall, I think but don't quote me on that. He was certainly not very tall. He might not have been very tall but some people found him very funny. He was often paired up with another Brotish comedian called Ronnie Barker, who died a good few years ago now and they were known as 'The Two Ronnies'
One of his most memorable sketches was set in a hardware store. He was the store owner and the other comedian came in for four candles.. or so he thought. No, fork handles... it would seem.
There is a lot more to the sketch.
Did you like him? What do you think he'll be best remembered for?

Possibly one of their best comedy sketches ever, certainly the most popular and requested of all time.

Many of the Two Ronnies' sketches are classics - not timeless, as some of the humour would be called into question by today's standards, but very amusing nonetheless - Ronnie Corbett appears at 1:52 in this clip, roll back to the start if you want the full sketch:

The Swedish lesson in Norwegian 'In The Restaurant', with "subtitles" (not actual subtitles, in case anyone was getting confused). Follow me on Tumblr! http:...

Definitely one if the best skits. 2016 is turning out to be a very sad yr for celebrity deaths.
