Yes it is cheating. Also, it's dangerous because all physical cheating starts as a thought, then moves to the action of doing something about it. Really all sin works that way. Better to keep you mind and thoughts clean.

Nah I don't think its cheating to fantasize about others besides your partner cos it just demonstrates that you are human. We are always thinking about what we don't have and fantasizing, I beleive is very healthy. It show that you are still an individual with your own needs. Now if you were to act on those fantasizies without your partner, then yes that is cheating. I love to fantasize and think about what I don't have in my partner. But I love him and wouldn't change him for the world. But I am the sort of person who will act on those fantasizies given the right time and guy... I don't fantasize about any particular person, but a particular type of person...

You bet it is cheating. But like white lies they are more or less harmless. There could be several reasons. One we do not discuss our fantasies with our partners. We feel shy may be..or inhibited ( will give me your head..NOW! ). Also the fact that we may be denied what we want..rejection in a form. So we hold on to the fantasies and fantasise when we are in and out. There could be a very puritan way of looking at it. You think therefore you do. All adultery, all infidelity, all cheating - starts in the mind. However knowing the reality..we may not be having the most beautiful or handsome partner ( and we do not marry or be togather only for the ..you know what!) we can fantasise about Size or what ever else. The physical part of it is essential and important but not more than life itself. The idea is to ENSURE it ends there. And who do I fantasise about....well thats for later!
