Soaking in some culture is something I think we all should do from time to time. Money however can be a problem especially if you have a family.
Try to find places to go to that don't cost you much money if any at all. Museums can be a great place to go to do just that.
I know that there are hardly anything free anymore. However there are still places like museums that have days and times you can go and you can pay what you feel like donating.
IE:My museum Thursdays might be the day where we will let you just make a donation of any size to enter instead of paying full admission from 3-close.
Some places also have group rate discounts which allow you to get a discount for a large group of people and include other parts of the facility in a guided tour.
So the next time you want to do something educational and fun you can look in the phone book and see what you might have available in your area.

I'm not sure I have a phone book any more, but there are good online sources too.

@JamesHxstatic I think some of it has to do with the fact that we want to declutter and we forget about when things break.

I think it is especially good for young people help keep them out of trouble and probably help find something to interest them in something worthwhile.
