Don't let the air conditioner fall out of the window!!!!

Obviously, some people don't use common sense or else it would not have to be said. Right? When I went to pay for my apartment, I had to watch a video on how to live in the building. Most of it was pretty straightforward. And then they began talking about the air conditioners. I was actually going to ask that question anyway because the windows are quite large. So, they give us a sheet of paper with the specifications for the air conditioner that will fit. And then they "insist" that we call the office to schedule the maintenance man to install the air conditioner for us. They "insist" that we don't do it ourselves or get a friend to do it. Again, those windows are rather large and I can't imagine trying to do it without help. But obviously, some people don't listen or adhere to the rules because I was told that air conditioners have fallen out of the windows. I mean, someone could get killed!
