Can You Live Without A Mirror?

Funny question, right? But I would like you to answer. Look, human beings have three basic needs which are food, clothing and shelter. But if you think deeply, there are so many things which you just can't do away with!
I was reading 'One Hundred Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and I found a lady who stopped using mirrors and she looked at the mirror just before dying, to see that she looks the same as she has imagined herself!
I just kept wondering whether I can stop looking at the mirror for the rest of my life! Weird, huh?

@arundhatiwriter yeah Arundhati,
Today a Mobile phone means as palm top computer which has all the Personal data.
And even we won't try to remember a Contact No. as its already saved in the phone.

We had to move out of our home while repairs were done, and when we moved back, we threw some things away and re-arranged where we kept other things.
The bathroom cabinet (with 2 mirrors on) was one thing to be thrown away, we are at some point meant to be getting a new one, just haven't gotten round to it yet.
We have now got our T.V. mounted on the wall, where I did have a large mirror... The large mirror now sit behind my sofa up against the wall as I haven't decided yet if I want it re-hanging some place else.
So, I've been living without a mirror since October 19th. We did buy a small shaving mirror to put in the bathroom so my partner could shave, but I've not bothered using it.
That isn't to say I have completely lived without seeing myself, I go to my mums and she has plenty of mirrors about and of course there is always the fact that you can catch your reflection elsewhere, like in windows.
I can honestly say a mirror is not a needed for me.

Mirror has always been my companion and it will always be there. Vanity is not the reason but we need to look at ourselves for many reasons.

Yes, I don't have a mirror inside my room. I'm not the type who looks at the mirror often. Probably because I don't care about how I look.
