How general is hygiene?

It comes as a surprise when you think about the different levels that people perceive cleanliness...I mean I remember when I was still in University, my first year roommate was quite messy and preferred hardcore cleaning only twice a week - leaving the place a mess half the time. Then my second year roommate, I think he had OCD! He was super clean and made sure everything was always in order...what a transition.
And then when it comes to me, well I feel like I'm just in the middle of it all because I cannot leave my place without cleaning - it really bothers me if I do. But, the reason I clean up every morning is because I leave the place a bit of a mess by the time I go to sleep at night.
Others may view me as messy, others may view me as super clean. I just think I have the best of both worlds.

When it comes to personal hygiene, I am obsessed, I clean my self 4 times a day. I live in a tropical country and I sweat a lot so I dont want to stink.
When it comes to my house though, I hire people to do the cleaning for me.

I always feel like something that has been done by someone else doesn't satisfy me. I need to be hands on and see which area I actually cleaned. To me its not only about seeing the dirt, if I feel that a spot is dirty...there is nothing anyone can say to convince me that the spot is clean

You're right it does get very uncomfortable. To add on to that you just always feel sick and stuff

I think i might be like your first roommate and a bit on the messier side.i man that my clothes may lie all over and my books in a pile but my room looks typical college student.i do get a lot of stick for it,but that doesn't hurt too much.
