Britain's Depeche Mode has been at it since 1980, and in all of these decades have yet to make a bad album, despite the departures of key members Vince Clarke, Alan Wilder, and Andy Fletcher over the years. In fact, they got better after Clarke split. 1997's album Ultra was another in their string of good albums and a big hit, debuting at #5 on the Billboard 200. Ultra gave us "It's No Good," which peaked at #38 on the Billboard Hot 100, although the song was a #1 hit in various European countries. And rightly so. It's got a groovy, danceable beat, and some of David Gahan's best vocal work.

@TiarasOceanView - For one thing, they can't have the music too loud and the show has to end early, all because of the nearby apartments. You moved into a neighborhood that has a concert amphitheater that has been there for years. What did you expect?

They were great when I saw them at Red Rocks, but I didn't care much for their show (and I know people who were there and felt the same way) when I saw them at whatever they're calling Fiddler's Green these days.

DP is just about my favorite band. Certainly top new wave band. I think It's No Good was their last significant hit and one of their best. Vince Clarke would go on to Yaz with Alison Moyet then founded Erasure. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore are the heart and soul of DP.

Martin Gore writes great songs. I saw Erasure. They were really good. It's just eerie how much like Alison Moyet Andy Bell sounds.

@teamfreak16 I like both Yaz and Erasure. Moyet had a great voice and didn't become a big star.

@JohnRoberts - Have you heard Hometime, her comeback album a few years back? I really liked it.

I don't think I know anyone who doesn't like them, but that's also the kind of people I hang out with.

Great track. Probably the most radio-friendly on the album as well.

Without a doubt. At the time, I had no idea they had a new album out until I heard this on the radio. Pulled into the first music store I could and bought it.
