Devil's Dice

When I moved to Virginia about November 1981, I began to attend religious meetings at the local Kingdom Hall in Charlottesville, Albemarle County. There was a new building there. Construction had completed. Grass needed to grow. I noticed these brown dice-shaped objects on the ground. They were stone. They were Devil's Dice. I've written a fairly decent article about them
I first experience Devils Dice in Albermarle County, Virginia. Consisting of pyrite and limonite, they were part of my "southern experience."
