Too cold to celebrate

April 2nd. The day i was brought into this world for the big challenge. The challenge of playing the big game of life, and according to the way you exist, the day some of us celebrate the day of our birth.
Yet, unlike the previous April 2nds, this one was filled with a blistering cold front that sent just about everyone around here, back to their heated houses. Unlike the previous years of escapade, to where I always treated my birthday like a national holiday, this year was definitely an exception to the rule.
I just don't feel it. I don't feel like partying. I don't want to celebrate. The weather has got me in a state of discontent with going out. I still feel like this is a special day, but unlike the years before, I'm actually content with just staying here and being around family.

We don't always need to party to celebrate. Happy birthday!

Let's just all be happy that the good Lord gave us life at the day of our birth. Some party and some don't but i don't think that's the most important thing

Happy birthday anyway. We're working on summer here. Crazy how different parts of the US are.
