Well I couldn't use the same title as before, therefore to entertain you once more with some of M's questions at her birthday party, I give you a Quizzy Mizzy!
Well done to some of the smart myLotter's that knew the answers of the previous Quiz, and well done to the myLotter's that read the responses to learn the answers - that in itself is SMARTNESS!
Don't feel at all like I am giving you homework - its just that sometimes getting a Quiz question is quite exciting and we learn a little more by them? Not so?
1. The French and the World Boy Scout movement use the same crest - what is it called?
2. What Musical artist, upon his death sold the most albums in one day?
3. In which country did the French fries originate?
Happy Sunday Quiz time!!

I like quiz time Lany, let me try:
1 - Fleur-de-lis?
2 - I think to remember Michael Jackson
3 - There is a dispute about this, but it seems that the French fries originated in Belgium. I think it's true because they are sold everywhere in that country.

French Fries are just a name given to chipped potato or chips as we call them and they date back centuries - as to who first called them French Fries, no idea

@bluesa There are no better fries in the world than those in Belgium from where they hail - their mayo is absolutely fantastic and is always served with the fries. (I have a stash at home, but you can buy it at Hartbeespoortdam Windmill the place is called Jasmine.

@arthurchappell , I know, my favourite junk food meal, aside from pizza, is a burger and french fries, with a milkshake of course :) . I just wasn't certain which country french fries originated from.

In response to a question on a tour around a local museum, a younger #1 son answered "McDonald's" when asked where chips (french fries) came from...
The topic of discussion was the Great Potato Famine, because the potato crop, the staple, failed for a number of years, driving the local population to emigrate west, to the Americas...

Despite finding the previous three quite obvious, I appear to have been caught out this time. I cannot answer the first an can only take an educated guess at the second. The only reason that I now know the third is from reading the response by Jessica..
