Okay I am a bit thin skinned but a mylotter told me I needed to edit m y post as I typed in a hurry and it was full of errors.Well I first thanked him and rechecked my post for spelling and typos. I found only one and I noticed that he spelled words the British way so a word like my flavor would to him be flavour instead. I felt he was really nit picking and his three word response I just wished he had bypassed my post.I do edit and edit again., S ure Im human and i do sometimes miss one but not the whole post. I do not really go around telling others about thelr errors as I feel I am not the error police here.I told him that at least I had better manners than he did and maybe he should try being more tactful. I feel that really we need to pay more attention to our own posts and stop with the criticism. GRRRRRRRRRRR

Personally I do like it if people point out errors as making them can be embarrassing Some people can come across as blunt or rude especially on here where there are language and cultural differences so I wouldn't worry about it.

When we are using smartphones it is really hard to avoid/correct some typos. I don't mind about it, but the message being relayed. Anyway, just ignore him.

I have had people suggest at a time or two that I had an error. I had read over it completely, several times, only seeing what I thought I typed. No harm no foul. We are really not supposed to correct the posts of others, even if they ask us to. A well typed post is easier to read. On the other hand, if I see a problem on your post I know that sometimes you do not see them. If I do not understand a post by anyone, I will ask them to explain. simple, and it promotes discussion.

You and I are so much alike! That would have bothered me as well because I am sensitive, as you are too. It is hard not letting some people bother us when they give criticism, especially when no one is perfect so no one should judge others. I know its easier said than done but try not to let it bother you. You do very well.

the only time I mention a typo is if unintentionally makes something funny, or if it changes the meaning (like I now dont get what is being said). for the most part

I'm here to interact and learn about the lives and interests of others in different cultures and places, not to be anyone's critic. You keep on being true to yourself and don't worry about the bad attitude of others.

I have seen a great number of spelling and grammatical errors on this site and others, but the only important matter is that the post is readable and understandable. Misspellings, typos and grammar would not affect the overall post in any way.

Whoever this person was obviously have not been on here in a while. This is just how you type and I have gotten used to it. Why can't people just mind their own business. I wonder if he was trying to be nice or really rather mean.
