I Can Not Believe How Fast Days Speed By!

When I was a young kid the days seemed to drag. Adults always said that will change when you are an adult, I thought nope. Oh my goodness!
I can not believe how fast days go by! I thought they would go a bit slow when I stopped working outside the home as well. It has not been that way. I think they have been going faster!
I wonder if it is not because there is so much I want to accomplish before I get another outside job so my time is full.
I have to admit I do watch a lot of TV at times because I have no motivation to get those projects done! LOL. I will be kicking myself when I no longer have the extra time. But I am also hoping I will find a way to stay home working, only bring in that mad thing called money. Or win the lottery! lol
How your days, fast or slow?

Time is relative to the amount of information you know. I'm sure if you lost your memories or became an addict and lost brain cells, time would move slower. Because we process things faster by knowing them, time moves faster even if it is slower.
Example: Last week I had to drive my uncle to the hospital. We got lost on the way and when we did find the right route it was still time consuming because every turn was an unknown. When we came back through it went much faster but it was still full of unknowns. The next day I had to take him back and only one turn was an unknown to me at that point, so it went much faster though we were moving slower. On the way back I knew all 2+ hours of the route so it felt like half the time the first trip had been only a day earlier. Uncertainty wasn't slowing me down any more. Because I knew, time moved faster.

@jwlsmacray This is most likely why when we're young time crawls along, because so much is unknown. When we are old it goes by quickly every day.

Don't be afraid of getting old. It actually gets better because you gain that wisdom that one wishes they had at a young age. I have really liked being over 40. :)

I agree with you, when I was a child I didn't believe time would go fast either. Boy was I wrong! Time does fly by now! It is crazy to me.

Maybe technology makes it go by fast. My kids claim the days go fast. I never thought that at their age. lol

I play here and there on the lottery. Not good odds. LOL. Summer went fast for sure, but we were busy with baseball. I did start taking my magnesium again and it seems to have helped my motivation. Weird.

My days are literally going at light speed my friend.
There is never enough time to have.
Yes, as you age, it certainly goes faster.
