Bubbles the black cat looked for Mistress but she was out. So he snuck into her art den and leaped on the table The painting she had finished was of a leaping trout. B ubbles st udied that for reality and was it stable? So he decided the trout was a rainbow so added color He had seen many rainbow trout in the stream behind the house So he decided on pink, blue and green but first he ate the cruller. He gave a cat grin as the fish became a rainbow trout not a mouse Mistress came back to pick up the picture of the fish for Mr Rish She gasped as she saw the fish w as now a colorful rainbow trout But Mr.Rich had told her just paint an ordinary run of the mill fish. If she gave him this painting instead would he really pout? In walked Mr Rish to see the painting he wanted of a fish He saw the colorful rainbow trout and smiled at her " How did you know ia bought a shipment of rainbow trout? She smiled back and said"ask Bubbles" and hebegan to purr. So the rascally Bubbles the Black cat knew his rainbow trout Mistress thought he surely had eaten enough of them no doubt So his mischief had caused no trouble for her at all So she gave Bubbles a new rainbow colored ball.
