MyLot DOES need moderators (that was actually the whole point of the discussion). Every member here should feel it their duty to 'moderate' by reporting anything which they come across and by doing their best to pour oil on troubled waters if they see an undesirable argument developing. Admin can't possibly scan all discussions, let alone all responses and comments, so the active participation of every member in seeing that the site runs properly is absolutely essential. I'm sorry if you felt 'fooled' by my discussion. It generated some very interesting and valuable thoughts and ideas, including your contribution, of course. I know that many people were responding under a false premise but that doesn't make their responses and comments any less valuable!

Though I did not apply for the post, I did reply in earnest and though I did have a feeling that he was kind of fooling, especially with gofsey going into every box saying it was Friday the April 1st, I still let it go on thinking that Owlwing does not play pranks especially when it was on March 31st and not the first. When he asked Daljinder did she note subtle change in title, I realized he did play a prank. Now Owlwing joins the ranks of pranksters on this site..but very nice to know lighter side of Owl.

Oh wow, yeah I was fooled as well. I thought they really did need a moderator. Can't believe he tricked that many of us! How rude!

I was taken in as I thought that little bird was part of the sites admin. Guess I still have a few things to learn.

I replied to @owlwings just to say that he is perfect as moderator. I had a doubt, for the simple reason that there was no official posts from Alex.

I think it was more a discussion about the work of moderators. If mylot were looking for moderators they'd have made an admin discussion.

I just realized I was fooled after I read your discussion I really thought it was for real because @owlwings seemed to be very familiar with rules in Mylot. I even responded to his discussion about it and perhaps he laughed to see it behind the computer since his prank worked I forgot whether he posted that discussion on April 1st or not.

Glad that I haven't applied for it, I read that post but I don't like the idea of applying. If I applied for that, me also become a victim. Lol. We didn't realized, it was April fools day, right?
