Any comic fans in the house?

Recently I watched the trailer for the new Preacher TV show and even thought I'm excited I can't help but think that maybe they are going to change the plot into something a little bit more comercial. what do you guys think?

Yeah I'm a comic-book dork. Though I am going to have to give both the comic version and T.V. adaptation of Preacher a shot, as I might like them.
