Do you have favorite shoes?

About 10 years ago, my husband and I traveled down to Mississippi and Texas for his father's funeral. We spent some time in Mississippi with his cousin and her husband at their home before driving over to Texas.
She was in love with her crocs. She made me try them on and she raved about them. I didn't see what the big deal was. I thought they were okay but nothing to get all that excited about.
Well, that was then. This is now. I have two pair of crocs and I wear them almost all the time. One pair is light pink and the other is a very dark pink - almost red. I've lost some weight, so they are roomier on my feet now and even more comfortable. When I wear them out to the grocery store or wherever, people always stop me to comment on my shoes! They love the color and they tell me how much they love their crocs, too! It's so funny.
At home, I wear them like slippers. I'm not sure how I lived without them up til now, although I definitely would not have been able to wear them to work, that's for sure! lol
So what about you? What are your favorite shoes? Something fancy? Something comfortable?

I like shoes that I have worn for a long time.
They are very comfortable.
I am more adventurous with my shoes.
I tend to buy different brands just to try them out.
Cost is a big factor too, so I will think very hard about getting shoes that cost over a hundred dollars.

When I was growing up, I loved going into a shoe store where they actually made sure the shoes fit correctly and they made you walk around to see if the shoes were comfortable. I miss those days. Although maybe those hundred dollar shoes get fitted. Gee, I would hope so. lol

Isn't it awful what we women have to go through? Between injuries and aging, our feet take the brunt of our problems. I hope you find something wonderful once you're ready. :) Heal well.

wow that's great to know! I'm not sure I've ever had Reeboks, so knowing they are that comfortable makes me happy!

@CRK109 Same here, the sneakers are old but I love how comfortable they are.

I think crocs are interesting, my sister said they're quite comfortable but I'm afraid since it's super sunny ~ I may get the tan of the circles. I wear flip flops and my feet have the tan.
My favorite flip flops are Rainbows!

@CRK109 Hehe good thing you don't have the circle tans. I guess living in California I get tanned everywhere. Lately I've been wearing my rip jeans (ripped at the knee for design) and when I went to go wear a dress my knees are much darker than the rest of my legs haha

I suppose it's possible to get a tan through the holes! lol I'd never thought about that. But then again, I don't spend a lot of time in the sun. I wore a lot of flip flops when I was younger. My feet don't like them much these days, but there sure are some very pretty ones out there! :)

I remember saddle shoes! I used to love them, too! Saddle shoes and penny loafers. :)

My next ones will be either blue or green. I want something different for summer. And then I'll find something suitable for autumn! :) At least I won't break the bank with these. And I can wash them. :)

Many years ago I had really comfy and lightweight Nike shoes. I wore them out to the point I have a hole in them. A few years ago I found some comfy and lightweight Sketchers Go Run shoes. I love them. I don't run, but they are great to workout in. I also recently got some Sketchers Go Walk shoes to wear around the house. Those shoes are a little big on me.

I've been dying to try some Sketchers. Sounds like the Go Run shoes might be for me, since you say they are lightweight. I love when my shoes don't weigh me down. :)

I had a pair of red sling-backs with a small heel that I used to wear for work and I loved them. I have crocs now too and find them to be really comfortable. They are great when we're camping too as I can wear them in the shower if I think the floors aren't too clean.
