Sunday Night Blues

I hate Sunday nights. Actually, I pretty much dislike Sundays all day as well. The weekends are way too short, and all day on Sunday it is clear that the weekend is over. And then Sunday night comes and reality hits that the weekend is TRULY over. And then I can't go to sleep. I always have trouble going to sleep on Sunday nights, no matter what I try. I am open to ideas! At least now I have Mylot to keep me company while I am waiting for the sandman to pay me a visit. :-) So how do you deal with Sunday night (or other night) insomnia?

Mondays do suck lol. But Tuesday is my worst work day. The weekend just seems so far away!

I work at nights. During the day, I get to sleep early because I'm tired working from evening till morning.

I actually loved working graveyard many years ago. I went day shift when my kids were in school. I guess I am a night owl because I love staying up all night and I actually sleep better during the day!

I usually don't mind Sunday nights. I like weekends though because my children are home from school and I get to spend more time with them. Last night I was up until about midnight waiting for my man to get home. I was on mylot and got a bunch of pages in my book read. I haven't had much time to read lately. He is moving out now so I will have a lot of time on my hands at night to read :(

Sorry to hear he is moving out and you are sad about it. I hope things work out for you. What are you reading?

@beckish thank you. I am reading a book called She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. What an ironic title for me to be reading while my man is leaving lol. This is kind of how I am feeling!

I have tried so many different things and nothing seems to really work except staying up until I am completely exhausted and my body is shutting down. Unfortunately that isn't too practical on work nights...
