The Strong Cry to Help El Niño-Stricken Farmers
One of the saddest stories I’ve ever heard is about “farmers begging for rice.”
Aren’t they the ones planting rice? How come they are the ones begging for it?
And how did it end up, people begging for rice being showered with gunshots instead?
What has happened to our country?
On social media, you can hear some of strongest cries asking to help our El Niño-stricken farmers. I hope these cries don’t land on deaf ears and just result to empty promises to aid our hungry farmers.
thanks for generosity , your sacks of rice donated to the farmers will truly help their whole family..

Oh dear i had not known or heard of this terrible human suffering leslyn joy.
The world is so cruel right now, everything is backwards..the very people needing help are not only not getting what they need, but being met with cruelty and hostility and harm?
I will look this up.
Edit..I see the article down below here from Marlina.
Thank you for telling us leslyn joy.

Farmers over there in the Philippines are not as valued as the farmers in countries like Japan and Australia..specially the rice farmers ..I joined in planting rice on one of my visits over there few years ago.. It wasn't easy .. I'm glad they are getting some help ...

Accepting rice from other province felt she was insulted? How about the result of those policemen who dispersed the innocent farmers were given awards, I think its an irony, they killed innocent farmers and they were given awards?
