Do you think that your teeth are not white enough?
There are several natural ways to make your teeth whiter without spending a lot of money. Here are some tricks.
Wash and peel an orange. Rub the white part of the peel on your teeth and then wash your teeth. Repeat a couple of times a week.
Mix a couple of strawberries with a teaspoon of baking soda and apply on your teeth, let in place a minute then wash your teeth.
You can also use the banana peel, exactly as the orange peel. Rub the white part on your teeth, repeat several time for a better result.
Avoid to use acids. The cider vinegar can remove the stains, but it can also damage the enamel.
Do you have a trick to share for teeth whitening?

@LadyDuck I noticed the difference immediately when I went back to regular Crest, after using the 3D White..my teeth started getting less white..so I went back to the good kind.
Yes Colgate is quite good also.

@TiarasOceanView My husband used to eat lemon slices, so he damaged his front teeth and now we are very careful what to use to avoid new problems.

@ridingbet Of course no, they cannot because dentures are made with different materials, they are not natural enamel.

I don't have any tricks for teeth whitening. Are these tricks for real? As I think the tooth paste already has the feature for teeth whitening. Perhaps I still stick in it as I am not sure whether the tricks can work well or whether they are good for the teeth.

@LadyDuck I am interested with the result of what you did. I have noticed that those who have white skin has yellowish teeth while those with dark skin has white teeth. My teeth is also not white even my dentist clean it regularly.

Some toothpaste contains ingredients that should whiten the teeth. My dental hygienist told me not to use those toothpastes because they can damage the teeth enamel, I use a normal toothpaste and orange peels twice a week to keep my teeth white.

I tried the banana and liked it. Afterwards swallowed something I would never do with commercial products. What is amazing while talking to my dental hygienist mentioned it and she looked at me like I was crazy. I think they go to school for five years? Hello!

@LadyDuck It makes you wonder. I like my dentist have had really good treatments from her however things like yearly xrays I do question. I know the machines are saver now and we get just as much harmful emissions from old microwave units and powerful wifi modems but do they really see much with those pictures? I sure don't.

@Bluedoll I am not so sure that the yearly xrays are really useful. I remember two years ago that I had to remove my upper left wisdom tooth only two months after the xrays, there was a big cavity and it was not visible in the xrays... so now I am not sure if I want to do this every year.

It isn't something I worry about - my teeth have never been white and since all my crowns match my teeth I'll keep the the shade they are.

@AbbyGreenhill I also have one and they matched my real teeth, but they were white when I had that crown, so it's better that I keep them white.

@LadyDuck When I had crowns made they were very careful to match them to my 'real' teeth.

my goodness me - these are some easy tricks - I have always had yellowish teeth, not horrible ones though, but ask the dentist ever time to whiten then up to which he replies - Your teeth are very health, whitening weakens them - but I am sure that natural whitening would not. Gonna give it a try

I like whiter teeth. But, even if mine are not as white as snow, I also find ways to keep it that way. Although a friend of mine suggested a tsp of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water for gargling, 1st thing in the morning. She said it not only fights the bacteria that results in bad breath, it also whitens the teeth (but after, you need to brush your teeth as well, in order to protect it from the acv).

I had tried banana peel, well, it worked partially. I also tried baking soda with lemon. It worked. But I never tried orange peel yet.

Thanks for the tips, though I probably won't need them because I've already got white teeth. That's what people say anyway. I once won a contest in the office for having the whitest teeth. I don't know why they're white. They've been like that ever since I was little.

@LadyDuck ah yes coffee can stain! I don't drink it personally though. But my mom always goes to rinse her teeth when she's finished drinking her morning coffee

@LadyDuck I do use baking soda as well. My toothpaste is for sensitive teeth as well as lightly whitening.

@BelleStarr I was suggested to use Colgate Total, because it was supposed to protect against plaque tartar and cavities. Two days ago I have read that the FDA now suggests that one on the ingredients can cause cancer. I wonder how safe all the others are.
