Enjoying a Day Off at Home, Maybe Something Will Get Done

I have another strange week starting today. I usually have Wednesdays and Thursdays off from my cashiering job, but I'll be covering three midnight shifts while one person takes some of his remaining vacation days. Because of that, I have today and Wednesday off instead.
It's too chilly out and there's still a bit of snow out there, so we'll probably wait until tomorrow to wash windows for the two businesses that we didn't get done in March. Other than that, this week will be low-key. Course, I'll be sleeping some during the day, but I won't be busy yet working both jobs. That should be starting anytime the weather breaks though.
I cleaned my bedroom a little when I got up and hope to work on more papers which never cease. I'd like to stay caught up if at all possible. I know it would work, but I'd have to stay away from mylotting and stay off my tablet and not play my favorite game.
I was going to share a poem about all the paperwork that's never done, but it looks like I didn't save it when the other site went caput. It should be on another non-paying writing site, but will take some looking. Maybe I'll share that later.
Images: Made with my colorfy app. It's the same picture. One has the lines showing, while the other doesn't. The one without lines looks a bit washed out, but it took me a while to realize that's because the lines to know where to color are gone. I used the wood filter for both of them.

I'm sure it's still on the website I mentioned. I've changed who can view things when I published them to bubblews, but I don't think I ever deleted them outright. If I did, then it's probably on my computer somewhere. Where is the question, though.

Unfortunately it seems to be gone for good. I deleted it from the non-paying-writing site once I published it on bubblews and gave the link to find it over there. I didn't think to look for that one when hunting through the cache last year. Now I could slap myself for not saving a copy on my computer at the same time. Bummer.

@MarshaMusselman That's a pity Marsha - can you remember enough of it to re-write it?

@Lucky15 Isn't That what you're doing? A bit of free hand drawing?

Thanks, but free hand drawing is much more difficult.

Maybe you found this post on the side bar somewhere recently? This post was written a year ago, Marsha, that's why I'm talking about work.
I am supposed to be off my cashiering job until the end of May if the surgeon has his way, but the manager of the disability department at that same job keeps telling me, via paperwork that maybe the surgeon doesn't know that they would allow me to have restricted hours or work a different location at the same store in order for me to go back early. The thing is they quit allowing much in the way of restricted work duties over ten years ago, and I rather doubt they'd really let me work in a way the surgeon would agree to.
Years back people could mark clothing while sitting on stools or things like that, but they don't allow anyone to sit unless they're on a break these days. I see the surgeon again next Thursday and will find out then what he wants regarding when I should be able to go back to work.

pt 2/ to keep it not so long, lol.
I used to work the midnight shift when covering four people's vacations and sick days. For some reason they/ my managers quit having me do that last September which was nice and I've not worked the midnight shift since then.
I did take my crew out to clean windows this week, Mon through Wed and I worked an hour or two the first two days to try to build a bit of stamina up for standing. I figure since I can sit anytime I want on this job I should begin doing a bit more just in case my disability manager has his way with me going back to work early.
Weird thing is that we pay a small amount out of each check toward any possibility of us being off for longer term health needs so I'm pretty surprised that they are pushing for me to return to work early.

It is quite amazing how different they look, I have been thinking about buying an adult coloring book. I know it isn't the same but still might be fun.

THey can be a bit expensive, ten to twenty dollars per book and there are so many to choose from. I think doing the actual coloring to be a bit more fun, probably, but this does work for me.

Ha! If I get filing done, then it will mean things will finally not be showing for a change. I did get 2015 boxed away, but I still need to go through one more area to make sure I didn't miss anything needed later. Then I have 2014 to finish up and then complete what I've done this year thus far. I've done some of that, so I want to finish, do the bank statements and then file those in the right box too.
I should have extra time this week to do that, sleep and be here some too, so I'm hoping I'll get more done by weeks end.

I did find a few other things that I've looked for before and never found, or at least I tried to find them via the cache but the ones I wanted were no longer there. I must have saved them much earlier. What I spent most of my time saving from the beginning of bubblews was the actual urls to each post. I assumed it wouldn't go defunct, but how wrong I was. At least with some of the other sites they allowed you some time to retrieve what you wanted. Ah well.

Cool coloring app Marsha.
I have some on my new tablet but have yet to try them out.
Yeah not doing much here today myself though.
Not feeling 100%.
Hope your day off is stupendous.

Hope you're feeling better soon, Ocean. (Is your real name possibly Tiara and if so may I call you that)?:

I think for the one with the no lines, which is the one on the right, I need to use bolder brighter colors. I've changed the color some to allow for that and thought about changing the image here, but decided to save it for another time instead. Maybe I'll share it here though, for now.

Oh, they are both such pretty images. I do prefer the sharpness and deeper color of the one on the left but having said that, I would have been just as happy with the one on the right if I didn't have to compare them. I don't know a thing about the app you mentioned so I will have to look into that later. Sounds interesting. I also hope you find your poem - i bet it could apply to many never-ending tasks. Enjoy your free time today - midnight shifts do not sound fun!
*hahahahahahah - I had to edit this before I posted it because apparently I forgot the "F" in the word "shifts" and myLot caught me and told me I had bad words!!!!! First time I've seen that and it made me laugh.

That is pretty funny. What they catch is hilarious too because certain words that you'd think would be obvious aren't caught while others are. I kind of like the one on on the left better too because it just seems sharper, but maybe I'll find a use for the ones with no lines eventually. Maybe I have to use the darker colors to have it work right. Maybe I'll experiment, but not right now since I've not done any of my 'tasks' yet.
Now that my husband left for work, I'm hoping I'll get the umph to do just that.
