Do you know how to interpret dreams?

I had a dream last night that our house was broken into and we were robbed, they didn't really take valuable stuff, just stuff that had sentimental value. Plus they totally trashed the house, even used the ladder to go on the roof. Apparently we had forgotten to turn on our house alarm, in my dream, that's why they weren't caught. I wonder what this dream means? Any ideas?

I don't know but there are a lot of websites online that could help with the meaning of the dream.

@lilnana1111 I kept having this recurring dream where I was lost in a mall. I kept trying to find my way out to go home but couldn't. I had also dreamed that I was driving or walking to get home and would get lost. I looked it up online and found out that it could mean that I felt like I had no control in my life. That made sense at the time because I did have some stuff going on. Once I resolved the issue, I no longer had the dreams. Every once in a while when something happens that I have no control over, I will have the dream again.

@lilnana1111 , I don't know how to interpret dreams, but that must've been so unsettling. I know if I snack before I go sleep or I am stressed I dream quite a bit. Did you eat anything spicy before you went to sleep?

@lilnana1111 , then I am not certain why you had such a vivid dream. But I hope you won't have such a worrying one again.

Funny you do not have your dog in the dream. I doubt anyone dares to go into your house when you have a big dog at home.

@lilnana1111 interestin'ly 'nough, there's been many break-ins 'round this area - many'n broad daylight. i believe we've been spared such coz so many seem to possess the knowledge that i'm home 99% 'f the time 'n i'm prone to be packin'. i don't reckon we've e'en a key to the house??

I wish we lived in a place we didn't have to lock our doors.

Time to update security on your house then. It depends if it was just a dream or a prophecy dream. It's not easy to tell the difference if you haven't had them before. I have several times so I know they feel different. Rather than being a momentary unease or feeling relief when you wake up, you feel a sense of dread and it lingers on your mind. Also you feel like you do when having a vision (not helpful unless you've had visions). I'd be cautious. I'm always sure to take care whenever I have a prophecy dream.

@lilnana1111 And after that you need the traps. My cousins and I rigged our treehouse with a bunch of traps, and we think it caused great amounts of carnage.

We have been talking about adding a camera to our security system, maybe it's time to do that.

That is a scary dream, It might be you subconscious telling you to not forget your alarm. I have strange dreams and have no idea what they mean...

I do not know how to interpret dreams but I wonder if you have some memories that you need to refresh, by looking at pictures and revisiting them.

Everyone has an idea of how to interpret dreams, I don't think they mean anything, they just are.

Sometimes it's fun to try and figure them out, but not take it too seriously.

Just having this feeling, while reading your post. I think your dream is simply reminding you to be extra vigilant. It could mean, locking the doors & windows before you retire at night, etc.

I have interpreted dreams just for the fun of it. Oddly, I rarely can interpret my own dreams. My (amateur) interpretation of your dream is that someone or something in your life is trying to take something (nontangible) away from you and it impacts your emotions.

You could be subconsciously (or even consciously) worrying about people or matters that are close to your heart. Maybe you have important relationships or causes that are concerning you right now. I feel like my dreams tend to deal with the same things that I wrestle with during the day--just in a more surreal or symbolic way. I'm only speculating. I don't have a coat of many colors. Haha
