Waiting for phone calls

I absolutely hate waiting for a phone call. It seems like it never fails that I receive the phone call at the worst possible time. Today I'm waiting for two phone calls and I have another to make. The two I'm waiting for I called first and have to be called back. I called at a convenient time for me, but who knows when they will call me back. The one isn't that important, but I was mad when I found out I had to make it. I purchase a cinnamon bread for breakfast and I found that my new loaf has raisins in it when it shouldn't. I called to complain but the quality assurance guy was in a meeting. Who knows when he'll call me back, or if he even will. The other call I'm waiting for is more important. We refinanced our house last summer since the interest rates were lower than what we had. Our original loan had my parents on it too so that we could qualify for a mortgage. We could make the payments but our numbers didn't fit the bank's formula. When we refinanced we had lowered the mortgage enough that we qualified to remove them from the loan. They were supposed to be taken off the title at the same time, but our property taxes still show them on there. I talked to a lady at the mortgage company we used and she's trying to figure out why the city and county still show them on the property when they shouldn't be. She said it could take a while to figure out and that she'd get back to me. Hopefully I hear back today, but I won't hold my breath on it. I still have another call to make, but I don't want to be on the phone if the above people call me back. I also have a couple of errands to run later today and I don't really want them calling when I'm out doing those either. Hopefully they will call before I leave, but I have my doubts.

This all gets tricky. Can you ring the first guy saying you have to go out and don't want to miss him? And I don't know why people say they'll call back and then don't. I think it is very rude.

It is rude but a lot of people and businesses do that.

I just went about my day like normal, he finally called me the next day while I was at work. I let it go to voicemail and called him back later, having to leave another message for him. I did finally get to talk to him later that day, but I'm still waiting on the other one. I might call that one back later today if I have time or tomorrow.

Sometimes I feel that way too. They don't call, don't call, then you go to the bathroom and boom, they call.

I hate when they don't call back for a few days too.

I received one of my calls the next day, but I'm still waiting on the other one. Unfortunately I don't know how long it will take for her to get back to me. I might try calling later today or tomorrow.

It really can disrupt your whole day when you have to wait for a call. I have had to do that before and like you, I had other things I needed to do also but couldn't until I received the call.

@fawkes62 It does seem that way, doesn't it? Or they call as soon as you go out the door.

I did end up just going about my day, but it's still irritating. It seems like they always call back at the worst times possible.

I hope they get back to you soon and give you a break. I never let the phone keep me home if I need to go. They can leave a message and I'll get back to them later... ( unless it was really serious...)

I did continue on with my day and neither of them called me back that day. The one called me the next day at work, but it was at a time that I didn't want to answer my phone so I called him back when I got home. I had to leave another message, but he did get back to me later that same day. The other one I'm still waiting to hear from.

Waiting for phone calls stinks. I hope they get the paperwork on the house straightened out.

Unfortunately of the two calls I was waiting for, the one I'm still waiting for is the one about the house. I think I will call again later today or tomorrow if I don't hear from her soon.

@fawkes62 I hope she got back to you. That's a major screw up and they need to fix it.

It seems time freezes while waiting. It seems to be forever fo that call to come in.

The one called me the next day but I haven't received the other call yet. I might try calling back and making sure she didn't forget about me.

I can understand your frustration, as I dislike to wait for a call also.

I don't think anyone enjoys waiting for phone calls.

I've been on the phone for the two days we've been home. If it's not one thing, it's another. I hope you heard back.

I did finally hear back from the one, but not the other. I might try calling that one back later today if I have time. I've got an appointment I need to go to soon so won't have time now, but might once I get back.
