Dinner was a success!

Two nights in a row my boyfriend has enjoyed dinner. Yes! Last night was a chicken alfredo spaghetti. I am becoming a pro with spaghetti apparently. Tonight was something that was daring but it ending up being amazing!
It was Taco seasoning, chicken, and a can cream of chicken soup, all on top of rice! The recipe asked for salsa but we didn't have any, but it was still amazing anyway.
My boyfriend actually really wanted seconds and thankfully there was!
I'm so happy when I am able to make a good meal. I got a silly insecurity from my mom of worrying if I am going to make someone sick with my cooking. But as I am doing it more and more apparently I am getting pretty good at it!

I tried cooking Fettuccine Alfredo last New Year. I really don't know if I did an authentic alfredo sauce. But still I find it delicious. Maybe I am just biased because I did the cooking. :3

That's great your cooking is improving. I cook every now and then and get good at it also. I go by recipes since I'm still learning and my boyfriend teaches me as well since he is a chef.

I go by recipes. My boyfriend has been a cook at a lot of restaurants. I used to burn rice each time I cooked it and then he showed me how to do it and I have never burned any rice since!

That sound so good, glad it turned out scrumptious and seconds were consumed by your boyfriend! Very good sign when they take seconds!

my mom never taught me how to cook because she hates cooking. So I kind of just learned what to do by myself. It is great when tweaking because more often then note it turns out pretty good.

Well because my mom aways constantly asked me, "what dinner okay, did I do okay?" and she would cry if I got sick or something like that.
