Crocodile Alert

Pakistan

In many parts of the world, going to the rivers and streams to get water for daily chores is a daily ritual for many women. There is no running water at homes and walking for miles is a norm for these girls and women. Many times, women can also be attacked by crocodiles and dragged away. This makes me feel so grateful for water that comes in my taps. How many dangers these women face everyday for just fetching water for their families I just wonder, we use so much of human intelligence, technology and resources for making weapons , missiles and such stuff, wouldn't it be great if we can pool our resources for a few good things for the betterment of this world and its inhabitants, especially women. This is scary, I hope that something is done in order to make women safer.

This seems very unlikely because it means that politicians and bureaucrats in third world countries will have to think of people instead of their bank accounts.

Of course, we cannot blame the crocodiles. It is usually the human population that interferes with their habitat and food chain. @@sol_cee
