Do length of post affects your selection?

I have seen people and even have noticed people skipping the lengthy post and going for the short and precise one. Well according to them this saves time and also make them indulge in writing faster. I personally do not mind the length of the post as long as I am interested in the topic and I really want to pen down my opinion for the same. What about you all? Do really length matters at the time of post selection for you all?

I have no idea. For me, I chose the post that I replied to based on the topic . If its a topic that I can surely contribute too then the length of the post wont matter. On the hindsight, I tend to avoid long post with topics that doesn't interest me.

Dear friend, I normally look for the topics that interests me. Length is not an issue if the topic is interesting.

There is a way to read long posts. One does not have to read every single word. Reading long posts in an art

This is a better way I too agree.Even though it is a lengthy post and if I am unable to contribute, then no reason of going through it on the first place.

No, it depends on the topic not the length of the post for me.
