Ordered from Amazon and never got what I ordered

Back in January, I had ordered to flea collars for my dogs, and I was supposed to get them by March 8th. Well, March 8th came and went and I still didn't have them.
I finally decided to email the seller and let them know I never received them. I never heard from them, so I went back into Amazon this morning to see if I was ever going to get them.
The status hadn't changed, so I got suspicious as to why I never received them, and I never did find out, but more than likely they were never shipped.
I filed a claim at Amazon this morning, and lo and behold, they are sending my money back.
When I ordered them in January, I expected to get them within a few days, not more than a month. I was always suspicious of that, but I decided to give them the beniefit of the doubt and give them a chance.
This is the first time that I have never received my order when I ordered from Amazon. I am a little skeptical of ordering from them again, I can tell you that.
I hope that none of you have ever experienced this before, and if you have, what did you do abouit it?

@carebear29 I felt that I have waited long enough to get my items, so that is why I decided to do something about it and see if I can find out what happened. It is pretty bad when the seller won't even keep in touch with me, especially after I emailded them and told them I wanted my money back and cancel my order, as I had never received what I ordered. I think they were trying to stiff me, and Amazon is takign mater into their own hands and willing to give me my money back, as it really doesn't loiok good on Amazon for this to happn.

At least Amazon is getting you your money back. I have heard many people having good experiences with Amazon, though I have never used it myself.

I have never had trouble getting what I ordered from them either, but evidently, the seller isn't legititmate or else I would have got the item way before this. I ordered it in January, and wasn't supposed to get it until March, and that was very suspicious from the beginning. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, since I have have had problems with Amazon before. Now, I am leery from ordering anyting else.

@Asylum I am glad that they do too. It is their job to make sure that if the sellers aren't seding out what was ordered, that they do somthing about it, and not allow them to sell again on their site. Amazon will do what they have to do, more than likely. I am just happy that I am getting my money back.

Sometimes some of those sellers are in foreign countries..it wont be listed on there, but if you shop there a lot, one can usually tell if this is the case. Good Amazon is giving you refund.

It is possible, that they are from a foreigm country, as when they suppposedly shipped them, it was going to take over a month, and mormally, it wouldn't have taken over a month to get it, as it never made any sense to me, until now. I just think they never shipped it in the first place, and just made me believe they did.

@rosekiss You may still get them Karen, though unlikely. I have had items from China come 2 months out, but they did come eventually. I too had a refund, but it was still fine, they did not want the refund back.

@TiarasOceanView If I do get them, I will be really surprised. I am not expeting them anymore, as I haven't got them yet after two months. I will just have to get the flea collars somewhere else.

@birjudanak The order was the right one, as it showed what I had ordered, but for some unkown reason, I never got it. I don't know why, but I think that maybe they never shipped in the first place, as it shouldn't have taken more than a month to get it. I have never had that before, as I usually get things within a few days. That is what I was thinking, until I got an email saying it would take over a month. I decided to wait and see if I would ever get then, and March 8th, came and went, and nothing, and so that is why I contacted the seller, and they never responded. I waited to see if they would ever contact me, and they didn't, so I finally decided to contact Amazon and let them know, and as of yesterday, they did refund my money, as it was back in my acoount, wheich really made me very happy to see that.

I was hoping to get what I ordered fast too, but that didn't happen. From the time I oredered it, I was told it would take over a month to get the package, and now, it has been almost two months, and nothing. Eighty dollars is a lot of money to just forget about, and I made up my mind I was going to ask for it back, and I am getting it back, which is a very good thing.

Well I ordered a few items and I got no problems, but I had a few problems with aliexpress. Their price may be cheaper, but I won't order anything from there again.

I guess ordering something at a lower price just does't mater if you don't get the item. I will have to buy them at petsmart, even though they are much higher. I know I am going to get them that way. I have never had problems before this, and now that I know who the seller is, they will never get my business again.

@arianebergeron I hope not as well. I am hoping that Amazon removes them as sellers on their website. I suppose though after this, they would want to do eveything to make sure it doesn't happen agaon.

Even though I didn't get what I ordered, I am happy that Amazon is willing to refun my money. They shouldn't have to, as the seller should, but they aren't. I suppose though that I will continue to buy from Amazon as I have always had great success there.

I have not purchased anything from Amazon, and I don't always shop online too. So far, I have good experience buying things online and receive my goods as well.
At least Amazon refunds to you. It seems like Amazon is quite responsible. But now you have to look for somewhere else to purchase the flea collars.

Yea, and they are special ones as they kill the fleas for 8 months, and not everyone carries them. I will have to research it out though, and hopefully, I will find them, besides getting them from petsmart, which are very high, and I don't want to buy them thee if I can help it.

There is always a time limit by which one is expected to receive the item failing which one gets a refund.

They did tell me it would be a few days before I got the money back, and I am okay with that. What I am not happy with, is the amount of time it was supposeed to take to get what I ordered. Way to long, but then like someone said, it might be a company that is overseas. I don't know, and I suppose I should have checked first. I wish I had, as I wouldn have saved a lot of time and trouble. Oh well, I am getting my money back, so it can be used for something else.

@allknowing They did refund my money like they said they would, and it was refunded right away. I am so happy that they did refund it too, as they did what they said they would do. It makes me really happy now, a I was so skeptical,, but now I am not.

@rosekiss That is what it is. Even I do not check all the details. Everything about a product is available for us to read.
Amazon, as far as I know, bends backwards to sort out issues. I wrote a post on them here recently how without questioning me and being satisfied with whatever info I provided they refunded me the amount and that too in a day.

I am not sure, but what really got me, is that the seller wouldn't even respond to my email. I was concerned, as it was way past the time they said I would receive the packagae, so I wanted to find out what was going on. Since they didn't respond, I had no choice but to file a claim, and then I got my money back. I just don't think that Amazon knew that this particular seller would do what they did. I am just glad that Amazon refunded my money, as it makes me feel better about them as a whole, but as far as the seller is concerned, I will never deal with hem again.

@LovingMyBabies It certainly is. I don't know why the decided not to ship them and just take my money. I hate that kind of business practive. It sounds like all they are out to do is take peopl's money, and not send them what the ordered. I am glad that I am getting my money back though.

It was a seller on their website that I ordered them from. I did eamil the seller after the arrival date came and went. They never responded to my eamil, so it left me wondering just what was happening. I waited a little longer, in hopes that they would come, but after waiting almost two months, I decided that they probably hadnt shipped them in the first place. I then filed a claim with Amazon directly, and it was right after that they, emailed me, and said they would refund my money, and they did, the same day, as I went on the bank app on my phine, and it was there in my account. I was very happy, that is for sure.

@shshiju I will not order anything again, unless I know the company I am dealing with. I had never dealt with that seller before, so I had no idea they would take my money and not ship the item. I will only order from Amazon itself from now on.

@miniam I am glad that they don't, and they really shouldn't either. No one knew that the seller was like that including me. It is a shame too, but there are companies out there that don't care and will just keep the money. At least Amazon took the initiative to refund my money.

No, they didn't. I had emailed the seller to see if I could get any information, and nothing. It upset me to think that the seller didn't care enough to even let me know what was going on with my package. They just don't seem hones to me, and I hope that Amazon drops them as sellers on their site.

I had ordered a book from Amazon. The service , on my experience , was ok . I understand how you feel . Ordering online made me ask myself if why should I trust. It is money that we worked so hard for. Anyway, I hope that Amazon will improve their service and delivery

I have never had problems with anythiing else that I ordered from them, and so I trusted that I would get them, but when I didn't, I started questioning what happened and why I didn't. I still dont know why I am not getting them, except it is possible that they never shipped them in the first place, even though they said they did. I just hope that Amazon drops them as a seller after this. I am now questioning my self, if I should ever order from them again.

Wow that was quite the long delivery (estimated March 8th) when you placed the order in January. I am sorry to hear you experienced such horrible experience for your first time! I have Amazon Prime (paid membership to get most orders within 2 days and I have never had any problems! I just ordered a few packages yesterday and I'm expecting them tomorrow! Regardless - I'm happy to hear they're refunding your money, and normally I have heard they also reimburse a little extra for an inconvenience but personally I never had to report anyone so I don't know.

I will from now on, as when I use Amazon directly, I never have any problems at all. I have seen the same item I had ordered before, still on the site, but another company has it now, so it looks like that they got rid of the company that I ahd ordered from and never received anything. I am glad they did, as it does show, that they reawlly do care for their customeers.

I was upset with the fact that the seller wouldn't even get back with me. That was totally wrong, and they should be ashamed of hemselves for doing what they did. I am happy though, that I got my refund, so I can use it for something else.

@JudyEv You are right. I know, I won't be dealting with that seller at all, not after this. I didn't know they were going to do that, and it bothers me that I didn't check them out first, and just went ahead, and ordered from them. I have learned my lesson, that is for sure.

I am really glad that I am getting my money back, as I would feel worse if they didn't give it back. I do think though that they want to keep their good reputation as that could hurt them if they didn't refund anyones money that asked for it. At least now, I can put the money towards something else.
